i know this is an old thread however i stumbled across it today as i have leaking issues with my heater return tube. question is this....3 weeks ago i removed it to replace the cam position sensor (which has since gone bad again, possibly from the leak?) then the following week had to replace my a/c. i think my coworker when assisting me tug on the line from the firewall put too much weight on the thing. or maybe not. does the heater return tube require an o-ring? and perhaps it fell off while changing the cam position sensor or became cracked? damnifiknow. just know i've spent more on this truck in the last 3 weeks than i'd care to.
