My trans am had the same problem and I replaced the rear rotors/pads, it went away, need to do that to the truck too

my 2002 is doing the same thing. I have replaced the rotors all around as well as new pads up front. Unplugged the ABS sensor, checked the E brake. Still pulsates when I brake. Now the steering wheel is shaking when I brake from 45mph to a complete stop. What is going on?????

No more shaking! I replaced all 4 pads, rotors and the drum brakes for the parking brake. And, I bled the system. Good deal. It's been a few months with NO problems.

Most likely worn ball joints, suspension bushings or steering linkage if the brakes are sorted.
