Default 2 inch level or 3 inch lift

This is a long debated topic. I want to clear a little bit bigger tire without going for a 6 inch or bigger lift. I am wondering if anyone has any input or pictures of a 2 inch level or a 3 inch lift on a 97-03 Ford F-150 2wd with a lift I can clear 33's what can I clear with a level

Google. Please. But yes you can. With a 3" spindle.

Spindle will have better ride quality

Mine has torsion bars tightened to set the hub-center to fender distance at 24", and a 1" block added in the back for the same. No decrease in ride quality (in fact, it just might be better than it was at 23"). Tires are 275/70-17 BFG KO2's. They kiss the inner edge of the mud flaps ever so lightly at full lock. With 33's some very minor trimming of the plastic might be needed.

Mine is 2wd would 31 be a better idea with a level or would 33 fit with slight trimming not looking to cut my truck to hell and back

Whoops. I missed that. I'm not sure of fitment on a 2WD, but I think 32" is the largest you can go with a level and not resort to some surgery. Hopefully someone more familiar with them than I will chime in.
