since you said the heater blows cold. take the hoses off of the heater core. take a hose with a handle on it and spray water into the inlet on the heater core to check for blockage and to clean it out. if water hardly comes out then i would suggest replacing the heater core if blasting it with a hose doesnt help the water flow.

if the heater core isnt the issue i would replace the water pump. it seems like its not building up enough pressure or pushing water through the heater core..
