Default Low Idle Hesitation

///
In addition to the low idle hesitation and bucking (under load, not neutral), there's a starting issue by where it takes about 3 sec to turn over the engine.

Engine codes are both banks at lean fuel.

I'm going to verify TPS and throttle plate operation when pressing the accelerator. After that I'm at a loss.

Any thoughts or experience with either of these issues?

Probable vacuum leak either in the vacuum lines or lower intake gasket.

The starting issue is strange. Clutch start in REV is almost immediate.

Ah yes, the elusive vacuum leak... Thx.

Check your clutch safety switch. Maybe a loose connection or the switch going bad.

I had similar problems changed plugs had codes p0302, p0450 mech said he changed the plugs but didn't fix the problem. my next deal would be thinking vacuum leak. just don't know where to start.

I would think the vacuum leak would be an issue at higher RPM- even under load- but it's not. Is ur situation similar?

Going to check throttle plate position relative to the TPS (sensor), have my assistant work the accel pedal.

Did ur mechanic change spark plugs only? Or coil pack too?

He told me I'd have to replace the whole motor but I'm not sure that is the case. it doesn't smoke, the problem started when I went though a bunch of water so I figured I just got water in the plugs but he changed the plugs and boots. It cuts out when accelerating and has died while switching from reverse to drive.

I just picked it up and started it it ran like hell first thing I thought vacuum checked it out and sure enough he didn't hook up a hose. Plugged it in and it ran fine had a code P0171 but I straight piped it so the 02 sensor code comes up all the time. It seems to run fine now.
