Default 1997 Ford F-150 XLT 4.6L, 4x4, automatic I need help please

long story short,
i let my wife borrow the truck last evening because she was out of gas in her car and needed to run my daughter to swim lessons....

after trying to to start my truck this morning I realized she killed the battery or at least properly drained it because only my internal lights and panels would light up but the truck would not turn over on once I turned the key to the on position.
....after three different jump attempts from three different vehicles I replaced the battery and the battery cables,
it still won’t turn over, it doesn’t even click click click.
im questioning the ICA valve I think it’s called which controls the idling oxygen; I’ve noticed similar problems in other 97ford f150 owners in the forums and I’m calling on your experience.

but I don’t know jack beside what I learn and pickup from experience and knowledgeable others.

please help a Ford brother out..
sincerely
Jedi

If it's not even cranking or turning over it's not your IAC (idle air control) that usually would be if your truck was running rough at idle. But since you said it's not even "click click click"ing then I'm with JP and thinking solenoid

X3 on the solenoid. Do you get ANY power anywhere at all? Any lights? Radio?

Might also be a bad ground connections

Is it fully in park? Usually when someone else has driven it and now it won't start, it is unlikely that a component just failed all of the sudden, really big coincidence, if that is the case I would buy some lottery tickets if I were you.

54 has a point. It may seem silly but what happens when you try to start it in neutral?

Default Good point...

all the interior lights ding and whistle. It doesn’t click much at all, I’m not sure if I flooded the engine trying to crank it over yesterday or not.
but when I installed the new starter and battery cables and finished connecting the positive grounds;
Ithe positive ground to the starter snapped loose but not off while tightening it. (Like it cracked and is hanging by a thread of metal.)

last night I got it to turn over after finishing the new cable swap but it stalled out.
it has fuel, I’m not sure about the Sparkplugs they may need some attention but I trust your experience more than my little experience with f150s?

I got power and lights internal and external.
where is this solenoid exactly that might need be replaced? All I have is a pdf owners manual and some gumption.

Your 2nd post is way different than your original one. Initially you said it wouldn't even click when trying to start it, now you say it started but stalled out. These differences lead in two totally different directions when troubleshooting.

all to no avail.. no click click, just one sound like its attempting to turn over without clicking.
