Default Fender Wheel Opening Trim Question

Had to do some rust repair on my 2003 F150 Heritage Edition. I loosened lower portion of wheel opening trim to access some of it. Now ready to reattach. How do I get the retainer clips (plastic) resecured to the trim? They (2 clips) are still inserted into mounting holes in fender. Or do I need to obtain new clips and attach to molding before inserting into holes inn fender? Have not been able to ID part number for the clips or a source to obtain, Thanks. Bob

The clips attach to the flare first and then snap into the fender. Can you get behind the panel with some needle nose pliers and push the clips out and re-use them?

Unfortunately no. They all go into a pocketed area (i.e. have a wall behind them with space in middle). I figured as much. Will have to locate a source to buy a few. I have a friend who has a body shop and has done some work for me before. Will contact him tomorrow. Thanks for the reply!!!!

Thanks. Do you remember what you asked for at Advance, or did they have them on the shelf? Do I need to remove one and take it with me?
