its either 3.73 or 4.56. I would highly doubt 4.56. I would definitely say 3.73 because thats the only gear your missing in the new style fords. They did have 3.44 in some older trucks but. Newer 1/2tons have 3.73 usually.

the 04 heratige is the 97-03 body style, it was produced in 04, but not the new body style.

How does one find the gear ratio if the sticker is removed ? Was that part of the Lariat option to remove the sticker ?

Look for a tag on the axle.

If that fails, one way is to find a flat surface, push the truck for one tire revolution and count the driveshaft revolutions - should get close enough to match it up with the known ratios that year.

I don't think it is ever optional to remove stickers - too much necessary information on them.
