Default cruise control not working

SOLVED!
2000 F-150 4.6 V8...
My cruise control stopped working last week. When I try to set it, the indicator light on the dash flashes one time really quick but nothing else happens. It has been reliable since the day I bought it new in 2000.
Thanks for any help in diagnosing this that you can give me.
Chuck

Is your center brake light bulb on the back roof of the cab burned out?

Check fuse #5 under the dash.

Solved!
The Motorcraft cruise control switch was out. It had started by-passing brake fluid.
Another problem I ran into was trying to identify the part. The Motorcraft name is "Motorcraft cruise control switch". The other names I seen attached to it were "Cruise control switch", Cruise control release switch" and "Brake fluid pressure release switch".
The Motorcraft part # for my 2000 F-150, 4.6 V8 "SW6350".
Thank you for your help!
Chuck

FYI: This cruise control switch is located on the master cylinder...
