Default 12" Solo Barics in Crew Cab

So I have an 03 King Ranch Crew Cab with the 4 captians chairs. I want to put in my 2 12" Solo Barics from my previous truck.

I want to know if ayone has done this, seen it done, or has any ideas?

Right now i'm thinking take out the rear center console and put in a custom box there with one sub facing out and one facing down and putting the amp/amps in the "compartments" behind the seats.

Any ideas, pics, etc would be awesome!

Well it sounds like a good idea but one thing to think about is box volume unless you just want it for looks I have a solo l7 12 in a vented box built to kicker specs and it's huge. O and I'm talking about in my wife's Acadia. Under the seat in my truck I have 1 compvr 10 and it's loud because the box is tuned for the sub. I guess long story short cramming all that in a Lil space might not be as loud or sound as good as you might think

Yeah i've thought of that and i've talked with a few car audio shops and the GOOD ones i've went to said that they can get it tuned and vented/ported in the space I have. It's actually a good bit of space...4 captians chairs in the crew cab is alot if you tak out that console. Also if need be they will really "custom" the box and make it go under the seats, like flare out under the seats to give more volume. Its gonna be one hell of a project....

Here is a link to a box Kind of like what i'm getting. Keep in mind that this is an extended, not crew cab and that is a bench seat.

Looks like your on the right track. I was just saying more sub isn't always better. Especially if you can't get enough air space sometimes its better to use one instead of two. I love kicker though I had a caprice classic coupe with one L7 15 dual 2 ohm pushed by a kicker kx1200.1 the sub was in a 6 cubic foot vented box my god that thing was loud

Yeah I feel ya, I'm really gonna have to get someone to nail down how big it will be and if it will FOR SURE be the right cubic feet that I need, and i deff want vented/ported...I love the Lows!!!

yeah I had these 2 L7's on a 3000W PowerAcoustik in my old 87' K5 Blazer then my 03' Grand Cherokee, R.I.P to both, and they were CRAZY!! Loudest system at my school and in my town...i have the tickets to prove it. One for 800+ Yards....

There really isn't that much room back there for two of those monsters. I would just put one back there in place of ur center console.
