Does anyone know if a topper for the next generation model fit on the older style? I have an 02 and found a deal on topper from an 05 but don't know if it will fit. I would like to know if you guys know if it will fit before I go look at it. The topper is around 60 miles away one way.

I dont think the width sizes are the same.
Too bad u dont live close to me,(lou, ky.) I have a 02 7ft bed, and my A.R.E. hardshale is up for grabs. $500 dark gray.

Tim I have the 6.5' box anyway. I can measure the width tomorrow as my Farther In Law has an 04 so I can check that tomorrow. Thanks
