yup what we are thinking. Which is crazy because we magnaflux everything at work and we just work on hydraulic cylinders 😂. We even UT hammer housings. But good news is with exception of the 1st guy telling me I was imagining green in oil because of placebo effect, the 2nd guy was much nicer and said he's going start warranty process for a replacement motor and get back to me later today. 👍

Cracked head...or more likely, a bad head gasket. Have you checked for exhaust gases in the radiator system? Specifically the coolant tank.

motor is pulled to put the warranty one in but are You talking about watching the reservoir for air bubbles from compression pushing into coolant or some other way. We seen no bubbles when it ran

Bubbles or false boil in the degas bottle is an bad HG indicator, but they're not always present. He's referring to HC hydrocarbon gases present in the degas bottle, there's a kit to check for that, but your past that now lol.

Heads look clean on that new engine, the engine looks great in fact.

gotcha.
That's actually the bad one sitting there. I have to exchange engines out the same day so I'm not able to get the new one until Saturday morning. But yeah visually everything on that motor looked awesome was super clean and cams looked brand new. Probably why it was even more disappointing that it failed 😓 lol

Only replaced like the bottom 6". The entire bottom of the support was pretty much rusted out so cut out what was left and 6" up. Then cut out 3/16 plate had lying around and slid it under everything for a base then cut sides from 3/16 plate to fill in the 6" up. It probably would have been easier to do the entire support but this cost me nothing but time and lil bit of welding wire but it's way more beefy then stock also how we cut the base it won't hold water like the factory one which is whole reason it rusted out to start with. If you look closely you can see where it's welded. I might have some photos of when we did it. I'll see if I can find them. If you were to replace the whole support with a factory one from what I remember it's only a handful of tack welds holding it together
