Default '02 4WD Screw Brake Pads

I've been using Centric brake pads for my '02 4WD Screw for the last ~15 years. Come to find out Centric went belly up in 2020 and were bought by "First Brands". It's not confidence inspiring that the part number I've purchased in the past no longer "fits", according to Amazon's vehicle identifier. After searching for a bit, it appears that brake pads are in short supply. And premium pads cost $100/set!! WTF? Pandemic? Age of truck?
BTW, would you tow with mid-grade, auto parts store branded pads, which appear to be plentiful?

I don't know where you're looking, but I've seen nothing of the kind. I just priced "premium" pads on rock auto for a friend's Tundra at $28, and there were dozens of options.

Amazon's vehicle ID is not the best.
