When installed, the tabs point away from the truck. I don't think the Ford light bar has tabs that point toward the truck. I know what you are talking about, but I've yet to see one on the 09+ like this. Looking at the truck and the light bar, there is little room for the tabs to be inward, and you wouldn't be able to mount larger lights as well.

That is a generic picture that is used to advertise ALL of the Smittybilt light bars. That is the light bar I bought, same model number, same website. The tabs do not face toward the truck. I know on some of the Dodge light bars the tabs face toward the truck, but not on the current generation Fords.

If you look for pictures of trucks with Smittybilt light bars on this site, you will see that on all of them the tabs face outward...

I never installed this light bar. I bought it, but was in a wreck, so the bar just sat boxed up. You can look at this bar installed on other trucks in my post above this one. As far as I know you can fit just about any off road light on this light bar.
