FORD OEM Bi-Directional Remote Start!!
I had this on my 2013 F-150 and should fit years 2011-2014 from research.... please double check your application.
I sold my truck and already had factory remote start on my key,.... BUT the distance was horrible!!!!
So I purchased this as an add on. It now gave me a LONG distance now (1000' advertised).... Plus it sends a signal back to the FOB that it has started with a flashing green light so you know it is started, so you do not need to have any visual that it has started.
Absolutely awesome remote start!!!!
I just sold the truck and removed all the components you see in all pics.
Now, if you do NOT have any remote start, you must have the "hood switch" installed, and will also require your system recognize it (via IDS from your dealer, or Forscan).
I have the manual that came with it, PLUS a printed copy on how to install it.
Includes the extended range antenna, one key fob, system box with security sensor, and the receiver/antenna.

The ultimate convenience. With the newest Ford remote start system, there's no need to see the vehicle to know it has started.
Simply press the start button: When the engine is up and running, the button flashes green and the key fob beeps to confirm.
This system can start/stop the engine from up to 1,000 ft. (distance may vary depending on location and environment).

Includes one bi-directional key fob.
Dealer installation recommended.

Just had a question from a member and want to give a little more info:
If you indeed already have an OEM remote start, then NO programming is required. You will simply just have an extra FOB that starts your truck..... with huge advantages:
You will now gain considerable distance now... PLUS now being able to start it with confirmation back to you.... letting you know, it has indeed started.
Again, an awesome remote start!!!
