SCT 3015 w/ 5* Custom Tunes F/S
 

Bought this unit from 5* during their Memorial Day sale and would honestly rather have the money in my pocket. I ordered the unit on May 18, 2013 and had the tunes in the truck for a week and a half before pulling them tonight. The 5 custom tunes on the unit are all 5* tunes for the Ecoboost trucks and are 87 economy, 89 economy, 89 Perf/Tow, 91 Perf/Tow, and 91 Performance. I tried the 89 Perf/Tow and 91 Performance tune and both were ok, just not what I really expected, so would rather just have the truck stock. I have taken pictures of the strategy code listed on the tuner, but can get the code from my truck if needed as well. The unit is unmarried/unlocked as documented by the pics and also includes everything with the unit as if it were bought new. I'm asking $325 shipped due to having 5 custom tunes already loaded, but will entertain REASONABLE offers.

What do you get for the money, what are some advantages to this?

Pretty much the ability to load custom tunes for the truck, along with read DTC's, perform data logs if you want to dial in your tune etc. It's really quite a bit, and a lot of people are very happy with these units, but for the money invested I was looking for more of a difference. But I also came from a tuned/stalled TBSS before this truck, so the difference in tuning is different.

Do you get better mpgs or horsepower or what?

Most of the tunes are based around higher HP/TQ and better overall driveability. I didn't have it in long enough to see a difference in MPG's, but I'm sure the economy tunes are named that for a reason.

Could you tell a gain in hp?

Never went wide open with it, but it definitely had more low end grunt. I'm just needing the money more than a tune on the truck right now or else I wouldn't have pulled it honestly.

Am I too high on the price? I'm going out of town for work on Monday for 2 weeks, but will take the tuner with me in case anyone is interested. Don't be afraid to make an offer on the unit, the worst I can say is no.

It's only been listed for a short timeframe, give it a chance to be noticed
