FWIW, I have this in my 2009. It sounds awesome. I have the weathertech mat in the back and the Stealthbox sitting on top of it. I did not bolt it down, and used banana clips for the connectors so that I could easily remove it should I need the entire floor. It doesn't move at all.....

I have the sony system, did you have this hooked up to your stock radio..if so how did it sound? Sorry, I don't know much about car audio.

I had it hooked up to a aftermarket radio but it could be hooked up to the sony, you would have to get a line out converter or a JL Audio cleansweep. I used a Audio Control converter. If you don't know much about it you might ask a stereo shop in your area about it.
