Default Oil Filters for your truck

Hey everyone -- I bought my F150 three years ago - when I thought I would never have kids again, and planned on driving it until the wheels fell off.

Today, having inherited the insta-family there's a need for a more group friendly vehicle. I thought about a SuperCrew, but after long consideration (which included people and the dog ) I've decided on a Toyota 4Runner and will be picking it up this afternoon.

Since I stocked up, that leaves me with 14 oil filters. 12 in an unopened case, and 2 loose. These filters not only fit the 5.0, but the 3.5, 3.5EB, 6.2, 3.7 and many other Ford engines over several years.

Filters in question are Amsoil EaO17 filters, good for up to 1 year/25000 miles. Made by Donaldson, they have synthetic media and solid construction. Each filter is individually plastic wrapped in the box. I've had the loose ones for a little over 2 years, and ordered the case maybe 1 1/2 years ago.

I've used these filters on everything I've owned since 2004, and at times for more than one oil change since they're rated for longer use. No startup rattle or issues of any kind.

Current prices on Amsoil.com is $15 (or $12 for preferred customers).

I'm asking $10 per filter and I'll pay the shipping. I'd prefer to send out the whole lot at once, as I prefer to keep the case intact. But I might do a partial deal. I'll also deliver within 200 miles of Painesville, OH (northeast of Cleveland)

Let me know if you have any questions, or need more pictures....

Must be exactly the right size kids if a smaller cab is better "family" choice. I thought you were going to say some sort of van reading that paragraph!

I had a SuperCab, there was not enough legroom for two teens. As mentioned, I did consider a SuperCrew. The 4Runner is much more spacious in the back seat than the SCab. (I measured).

It's only a little smaller in the front and now there's enclosed hauling area in the back...plus a 3rd row for emergencies
