Looking for a 6-bar FX4 style grille with a sterling grey surround. Want to get rid of my chrome 6-bar the came with my XLT. Anyone? I checked eBay but no luck. Thanks.

Give painting it a try, mine was the chrome 6 bar and I painted mine like the FX with apperace pkg.

A less ambitious option is to paint the chrome surround. I like it and have not seen another in my travels:

It pains me to see a good 6 bar chrome grille get painted cause I've been looking for a cheap one forever. Plus I've only got the 3 bar which noone wants :thumbsdown:

Nobody wants chrome headlights either. They're worthless. I tried to sell mine. No go. Krylon 'em and they're as good as Harley heads.

FWIW, there be plasti-dip sandwiched between the chrome and the paint/clear coat. I could go back if I want to.

I sold my chrome heads pretty quick and easy, just didn't get as much for them.

In the states they had a xlt custom pkg in which you could get a grille like yours, but around here in Canada you probably won't find one unless some traded/bought one or painted there's. If I didn't have such a hate on for the factory chrome on my truck, I probably would have done surround PTM like that. Looks good man!

Exactly. There are those that prefer the chrome look or want a spare set to so they can black them out. I sold mine pretty quickly as well.

True. Poor phrasing on my part. I ended up keeping mine for a retrofit.
