Update on the puddle lights... I just sold a set of these to a member with a 13 f150 with HIDs, for some reason or another they wouldn't work. I'm just giving a heads up for future orders on 13 model truck that they will not work. I have not tried a truck without HIDs yet and will to make sure. Thanks for all your business and thanks f150 forum.

Price for the brighter version with trade to 30306, please.

Also, do you solder resistors inline? Some people add resistors when using LEDs so they don't change the load.

I read in the last page or so where a truck wasn't equipped with these lights to start with... can you answer if my 2012 xlt chrome package would have what is needed in the compartment to pop out the black cover and hook up and insert these to work?

You can add these to your XLT, however they do require some wiring. You will have to find the wiring that goes to the done light so they will come on when you unlock with transmitter or open the door. There are some threads on here somewhere that might help you in doing this. Let me know if I can help. Thanks

Just curious. My 2011 Lariat doesn't have any lights in the bottom of the mirror just a black cap covering it. Could i buy these and plug them right in or would i need to wire them o_0?

Nevermind, just read about that other guy.
Dang, that sucks. Not going to bother with screwing around with wires and stuff.

Is it hard to remove the stock bulbs and put thes LEDs in and where did you order the bulbs from? Also what's the replacement part number on them?
