So how hard is it to retrofit the bulb? If it is the stock puddle light like I have on my FX4, is it just the bulb behind it that needs to be changed? Can I just buy the bulb and install them on my current housing?

his price is really fair for a whole new set of lights, "my dealer" wanted $32 for each puddle light. now price out two LED bulbs. this also includes shipping.
FAIR PRICE FOR THE NEW LED PUDDLE LIGHT PLUS HIS LABOR.
sorry I didn't place the order my friend got me two puddle light off anTOTALed truck all I had to do was tinker with them a little, well a lot, got a 9 SMD LED in them. one direction. brighter then my headlights I think. lights up the whole side of the truck. over three hours of work redoing the wire connections to make them work, A real pain in the butt.

Is there any way you could hook up with Jon_To who is an LED vendor on this site and make some with his 5050 SMD 12 LED super bright panels? I'm sure he could give you a good deal and it would make the lights way brighter. From what it looks like it uses the same festoon bulb as the main dome light. I would definitely be interested in those panels and I think a few others would be too. Let me know and I'll take the first set if its possible.
