Yes, I had it on my truck and it worked just fine. I did not wire the running lights but they were tested and found to be in working order, it uses the same LEDs for brake lights.

It is plug n play to work as a normal third brake light. If you want the running lights it has to be wired to the parking light circuit. It has one extra wire that the regular third brake light does not have.
