Default FS: VSS/Shock Sensor and RMU

Up for sale is an OEM VSS/Shock sensor and RMU/Cell Module for OEM Remote Start. I purchased this off of eBay for my brother's truck, and he decided he didn't want it. This is the older style that plugs into the TPMS system. Includes the security LED light.

Since I have not installed this unit myself, I cannot say if it functions in full, will activate, etc. I do have the 4 digit pin required to activate. With that being said, I'm asking $80 shipped in the lower 48 for the kit. Will include printed install instructions.

Does this require monthly cell service to be able to use it?

It is yearly - $50/year thru Ford. The VSS/shock sensor module can be used without the service, it’s the RMU that requires the subscription.

I'm interested. Does my TPMS system have to be active for the Remote Access to work? I disabled it with Forscan to forgo buying sensors in my new wheels.
