FS: 2012 FX Retrofitted Headlights
Up for sale is a pair of retrofitted headlights from my 2012 FX2.
I recently purchased a set of 2013 oem hid headlights so I decided to try to retrofit my stock headlights for fun.
With that being said this is definitely not a professional job like some others provide on the forum.
The projectors are Mini H1 Knockoffs with Mini Gatling Gun shrouds.
You can see the difference between professional quality and knockoffs based on the beam pattern on the passenger side.
They do provide plenty of light though (better than stock halogen, for sure).
The biggest flaws of the headlights would be small fingerprint on the drivers side plastic lens that wasn't cleaned well when installing.
It isn't too noticeable but is there. Camera would not even pick it up.
These were sealed with Butle tape as well as a bead of black rtv silicone around the edge. Has been on the truck for about 2 days now in which in was raining and has not fogged up or had condensation.
Included with the headlights will be 5000K H1 HID kit with H13 harness.
Asking price: 500 + shipping/paypal
Location: San Antonio, TX

The beam pattern itself itsn't too bad, at least for that projector. It looks like you just have the passenger side aimed a bit high, the cutoffs should be level and you have 2 stairsteps instead of 1. If you lower the right side a tad so that the upper step is level with the upper step on the driver side, it will be nice and even. That cutoff flare on the passenger side is a known product of those H1 projectors from what I recall a few years ago. GLWS!
