i have a stx you thank the wire is under the head liner for the plug in

 

Just checked the 2009 F-150 Wiring Diagrams and there appears to be a connector near the rear view mirror for the Super Crew and Super/Extended cabs, however, none for the Regualr cab (though you could tap-into the leads for the dome lamp/light which runs near the rear view mirror).

*CAVEAT: I'm no electrician, though I often play as one.
