Question

Do you know what caused the engine to blow up? Was it overheated or out of oil or just plain worn out. I have a 4.2 and it has over 200K on it and runs like new. I am just wondering.

just a thought, but you could put a 3.8 out of a mustang in it. I put an 04 Mustang 3.8 motor in my 97 that had a blown 4.2. Super easy direct fit, and the 3.8's are cheap! I got mine for $350 with 60,000 miles. All I had to change out was I used the accessory bracket and the upper intake from the 4.2. Everything else was plug n play.
