I am also currently working a deal with the system you see on ebay for $999 that fits base model radios from 2011-2014. If I can acquire them, I will be selling them for $475 as well. No need to price gouge just because someone has them for sale exclusively.
Has anyone installed one of these recently? How much time should I set aside? Any tools I should have before hand? Anything else I should do while I have things apart? Maybe sound deadening on the doors?

Just finished the speakers yesterday,it took about 40mins to do the doors. The amp for the speakers and the sub took about 3hrs. A trim panel tool kit is a must ($15 on E-bay). For $450.00 the difference in sound and clarity is amazing. I looked at the same unit at my Ford dealer $1300.00 GREAT deal.

You can do the speakers first and then come back to everything else another day? I won't need to open up a door panel again once the speakers are in for the amp install?
So I installed the sub but I find the drop in bolts just don't hold it in place? am I missing something? Did anyone just add a bolt from underneath to secure it? I also have all the speakers installed. But right now I am just waiting for a new wiring harness to finish everything. I accidentally ordered the wrong kit, my fault completely.

Those are called rivnuts they need to be compressed into the floor pan with a rivnut tool.
