They aren't secret, just there is a variety of different models with different features and expense levels so folk tell me what they are looking for and based on that, I recommend a specific model or type that fits their budget / needs.
Like for example, do you want a basic handhel that just plugs in, uploads a tune and be done? Or do you want something that mounts to the windshield and can monitor all your real time data, do you want one that you can use an app on your phone to tune with, ect ect
