The way that SCT tuners work, is first time you use it on your vehicle, it then becomes vin locked/married ( same thing, different terms people use ) to your specific vehicle and will only work to upload to your vehicle while the tuner is vin married to it. So you can’t say buy a SCT tuner, tune your vehicle, and turn around and tune your friend’s car/truck as well as the tuner will only work on the car it’s vin married too.
You can unmarry it by restoring the OEM Ford tune back to the car/truck by doing program vehicle, restore to stock option, ( first time you use the tuner, it will auto save the OEM tune into the SCT tuner ) and once the OEM tune is back on the car/truck, that unmarries the SCT tuner from it so the tuner then can be used on another vehicle and that can be done up to max of 5 times. So the tuner will work on up to 5 vehicle swaps, but only on one vehicle at a time and as long as the prior vehicle was put back to stock OEM tune.
So if you want both trucks tuned at same time, have to have two seperate tuners, one for each truck.

Got my SCT X4 yesterday, loaded it up and immediately could feel the difference. Can't believe I waited this long to buy one. Got new tires today, reset for the oversize tires and checked the speedo on the way home, dead on. Thanks for the great price, quick and complete answers to my pm's and the fast shipping. Couldn't be happier!
