bought FX4 back in March,- the stock exhaust is super boring, so with the first service i took it back to the Altayer and asked for a Roush kit - this includes purchase from them and installation. The guy have announced that no problem it will be 7k AED but it will void the warranty on the engine "if something goes wrong" and you'll need to sign NOC plus something about traffic violations...
and if this is the case the guy was not very helpful to actually explain what could go wrong and how they would/could fix it as to him if engine fails its the exhaust modification?
Does any one know anything like this? and why if they actually selling FX4's Roush edition...

If I were you. I will buy Borla or aFe exhaust for half of the price (or less) & high quality. Sounds absolutely better than stock system.

- You can fix it any where for less than AED500.

- I believe traffic violation is not an issue unless you chose a very loud system such as Borla-Attack. I installed after market air intake & cat-back on my jeep wrangler and it passed traffic authority registration check - no issues.

- I have never heard about engine fails caused by branded exhaust system. These systems already tested and ready to install for specific cars only. You can always check reviews online for any product you wish to install on your pickup.

hey guys i got my truck a year and half ago.... i love it and at the moment repainting the whole thing with a new color, will post pics soon.

i have installed a summit racing exhaust it sounds nice and the price was great.

Having same issues. FancyUAE have been a joke IMO... been looking for pocket flares for my f150 for over a year, still not in stock. everything in UAE seems to cater to Jeep or the toyotas and nissans. I know they are the most common cars used here but real truck owners need somewhere to get our stuff as well without having to deal with desertcart's inflated prices or exorbitant shipping charges from online shops.

anyone have any other places in UAE that are decent.

Old thread but I’ve taken to ordering parts in from the US for my Fords here… sick fed up of premier motors trying to fleece you at every turn. Got a couple of good small/general parts places in Abu Dhabi though. Found these guys to be very helpful and honest.
