My insurance will be about half the price compared to Texas so that will save me quite a bit of money.
I've heard that dealerships will usually let you slide since they're such a big business that they won't be messed with too much and they want you as a future customer to buy a vehicle from them
Hang on to your property tax bill. You can claim that on your taxes and get some of it back on your refund.

Thanks. It would be nice to recuperate some money after paying for all these moving expenses. So far really loving North Carolina. The scenery is nice and weather is much better than Texas

Minus the crazy heat this week, which is not normal this time of year. This is late July-early August kind of heat.

The weather here is good. We may get crazy temp swings from time to time. We've had 50 degree weather one day and a few inches of snow the next. I've mowed my grass the week before Christmas and had snow at Easter.
Welcome and enjoy the Old North State. If you haven't already brush up on ACC basketball.

Welcome to NC! Tint does have the legal aggravations, but once you get somewhere that just says "Hey man, next time you gotta have that fixed" you'll be fine. Be sure to head towards the coast, as there's lots of beaches here you can drive on.
