Southern Truck Shootout!
So, you think your truck is fast? 
The Southern Truck Shootout (STS) will be held in Valdosta, Georgia. The event will be held at South Georgia Motorsports Park (SGMP). On December 15, 2012. This is an a legal drag race (closed track) where the fastest trucks of the South come to have fun. Classes for everyone, 15 second rides to 8 second trucks (yes 1/4 mile) gas and diesel. This is the third year the event has been held and will include a truck show as well.

I have attended the event for the past two years and have had a blast. It's run to come out and run with no cars at the track.
