New Jersey lifted truck law?
 
I have an 2001 f-150 and i just bought a 5"rcd lift and 35" tires and didnt know weather or not i was goin to pass inspection. Doese any one know the lifted truck laws for new jersey, am i gonna pass?

dont know about jersey, but here in nh its 30" from the bottom of the rear frame [where it meets the bumper] to the ground.

you will have to pass a special inspection if over 3" of the stock height of the truck. So you have to go through a stabilization test if anything above a 3" lift. Also they will give you a special inspection sticker for it. Might be less of a hassle to go and pay for a shop to do it, lmfao.

I always thought you needed a roll test if you were 4" higher than stock. That 4" includes all lift provided from suspension, body lifts and tires. I think they measure from the ground to the bottom of the door sill or door handle? Regardless, sounds like you'll need the roll test.

That's a good link. Wish I had such detailed info when I had my Jeep.
