Hey yea, from Waldorf, MD.

The only Ford dealer around me tho is Waldorf Ford...anyone know some other places that can hook me up with a good deal on the new F150?

I don't think there are any good deals on new Ford trucks. Everytime I get an itch for a new truck that itch goes away when I see the price. If/when the engine or tranny ever go in my truck I'll just buy a new engine or tranny and still be way ahead. The 13 mpg I get in my truck is still good enough when you compare it to an ecotech V6. A buddy of mine only gets 19 mpg. That being said, I do really like dealing with Wynne Ford in Hampton VA. I've used the service and parts departments and they have always been good to me. Not sure how their sales department is but I would guess about the same.

I just moved into this area.

Actually, I'm new to this forum and a bit of a mechanical rock. Anyone on here mechanically inclined interested in making a few bucks and interested in educating someone on some F-150 basic mechanical tasks?

All depends on area and what all you wanna know, but I'm sure there's definitely someone on here that's willing to help. Also, what year and submodel is your truck?

I have a 99 XLT 4.6L Triton.

I'm just looking to see if someone knows how to install a new window motor kit? I have the parts and have seen some video's, but it seem to help having two people to do it. Plus, if someone's done it before then all the better.

Also, my engine light is coming on and there's a few minor electric issues with it. (Dome light doesn't come on, odometer light comes on and off at various times).
