I applaud your attempt tho! Is that near the thornapple, in jenison or sumthin like that? Never been there but my buddies go often and all I hear is "I broke this, tore that off, need a new, had to get pulled out by some guy". Lol

Default First time trail ride

Hey guys. Went camping in Ludington this past weekend and the crappy weather offered the perfect opportunity to hit some trails in Manistee National Forest just north of Ludington. Had a blast, some trails are wide open, others I had to fold the mirrors in to squeak through. I rode for about two hours each Friday and Saturday and don't think I hit the same trail twice. I will admit though that I had to back out of 3-4 trails in the more swampy areas since I was riding alone with no winch and stock tires. It also seems some of those trails were traveled very little and I just wasn't sure what I was going to get myself into if I kept going. So many more miles of trails left to explore so will definitely be going back.

I still have the stock tires on my truck, and i was wondering how these hold up in our west michigan winters. Are they worth replacing, or going to a different tire, possibly an AT?

Can't help ya' on Stone Liners but I had my Lariat bed done at Bruce's Rhino Liners in Mattawan. Real happy w/ the results as the bed was really scratched-up before. Yeah, I know it's aluminum & won't rust, but it does oxidize & looks like crap w/o a spray-in liner.

Anyone on the west side (Kzoo area specifically) have any experience with No Limits Motorsports in Plainwell? They gave me a pretty good quote on a Fox 2.0 kit , install and alignment but was curious if anyone could attest to the quality of their work.
