Default NE Ohio

It seems to be quite some time since there was any recent activity in or around Ohio, I was just wondering if anyone is in the NE Ohio area?

I really could use somehelp with my truck. It seems no matter what I end up doing something goes wrong or the shop completely screws me over. For example I have my 6th alignment if a month today.... I have stripped and reassembled my suspesion for the 3rd time over the weekend to ensure it is 100% solid aside from the alignment. That is how I noticed the heat shields are detatching from the exhaust manifold, and then proceeded to almost electrcute myself when the wire I was using touched the starter, that was a wake up call fr sure! However the manifold is rusted to heck and back, the shields are solid except for the holes the rusty cones that are the mounting bolts on the manifold are through them. It is also kinda loud, but I dont know what it should sound like. i cant tell if it is more than just the usual sound to the engine/exhaust.

I have a 2012 FX4 Supercrew 5.0 v8 with a 2" bilstein struts. I purchased the truck in April and there has been some things done to it, but to me it is all foreign. Literally just want someone to help me sort things out and dont talk down to me. I may not know the technical terms for parts and what not, but I am compitent and once I know, I know.

Might I suggest you go to the "General" thread and post there. This thread you posted on doesn't get much traffic, and you'd likely get more answers, help, etc. there.

Yeah, it just seems to be one thing after another. Currently about to reattach my lower exhaust pipe since it decided to rumble free from the muffler. I thought the aluminum zip ties that I used to secure the manifold heat shields came loose and were rattling.

Nope! It wares my back half of the exhaust dragging along. Thankfully I only lost my tip as the over the axle pipe got hooked onto my differential while I drug it for an hour 🤦🏻‍♂️
