Hey everyone. I'm from Omaha too. Nice to see there are a bunch of people from Nebraska.

What kind of tires do you guys use in the winter? My truck is not 4x4 so I will need some good tires.

Hey man, welcome!!

I've just used my stock tires and now my trail grapplers in the winter.. In just normal city driving, I have yet to use 4x4.. I couldn't tell you what your best tire would be, sorry!

Not sure how well Omaha plows but common sense driving and you shouldn't have many issues. Blizzaks are about the best dedicated winter tire and in my biased opinion Duratracs are about the best all around tire.

Hey you two. Thanks for the replies. Glad to hear I should be fine. I'll look in to those two types of tires XtraLarge.

Omaha plows the main roads quickly, but the neighborhoods might not get plowed for a day or two. I'll throw some sandbags in the back of my truck.
