Will be traveling thru the area the end of the month, first of June on my way to S Dakota. Looking for info/tips on which areas to stay in for the night (safe, decent motels & places to eat). Will just be passing thru but it's a good stopping point drive time wise. TIA

 

Not St.Louis, but here at Lake Of The Ozarks there are many fun events during that time frame. Enjoy the trip.

 

Late to the Party but, St.James off I-44 has a great winery, couple of decent hotels and there is camping 6 miles south along with a hatchery plus great trout fishing!
