a boat.......lol they put up so many baracades an fences since the summer the only way I know now is launch in the boat launch in the spillway an go to the lake an go from there. you use to be able to launch right off the levee by I-10 but they out a fence up, that use to allow you to be able to go under interstate from that launch but the clubs put up fences cuz people would "tear" up the land blah blah. im sure my friends know ways through there now. or you could take the protection levee till you find a canal then launch a pirouge an find a spot. the dropped pin is the boat launch you use to be able to take to I-10, an in the last pic the brown line is the protection levee on the other side airline from Norco, which is the one im talking about to where we launch pirouges. hope that helps some lol

So the road that takes you to the boat launch under the bridge I look for a place to launch on the other side of the levee closer towards New Orleans? And that's all public land ?

yes atleast you use to I havnt been in a couple months and my friends told me there are fences up on the water so u can't drive some ways. yes most of it is, mike Boudreaux owns some when you get close to the protection levee. idk where you'd go to get a map of the area an who owns it, maybe the court house, that way you know where there land is an not to hunt there. you go down the levee that you were talking about and all toward New Orleans is where you saw the birds
