I have heard that the best exhaust is the 4inch Heartthrob Exhaust and doesn't really have any drone at all. My only concern is my truck sounding like a V6 rice burner! I doubt it would sound too bad but I'm just scared that it would.
How do you like your tunes? Did it wake the truck up quite a bit, even in Colorado's thin air?

I have really been leaning towards the Full Race set up since they offer a resonator. I have ready a lot of great reviews.. but I just can't fork out that much money for exhaust on my truck. I have too many other toys/projects where that much $$ would go a lot further.
Love my tunes! I had some issues getting everything working in the begining, but Shawn with SSI stuck with me until we got it all worked out! I'm currently running a 91 oct T4 race tune and it's amazing! The truck is much more responsive and pulls hard. Coming from a powerstroke I had already decided I didn't want a truck in Colorado without forced induction. It really makes the difference towing over the mountains.

What didn't work right away? What type of tuner do you use? I have an SCT SF3/X3 that I bought in July of 2011 for my Mustang (traded for my ecoscrew) and I want to have SCT unlock it then have someone send me some custom tunes. I was really worried about putting a tune on my truck because of the warranty but I'm slowly getting over that and believe that everything will be fine. I just want a little more power and a little harder pull. Are you talking about the SSI in Maryland or a local guy?
I'm now using a SF3 with new tunes and everything works great. I was worried about warranty too, but I didn't want to wait that long. I bought the truck to use it and enjoy it... so I'm going to enjoy it even more now.
SSI is Southern Speed Inc. I believe they are out of NC now.. formerly southern CA. Shawn is a great guy to work with over there though!!

Anyone know of any good powdercoating shops in Colorado? I would imagine most of the ones everyone knows are in the Denver-Metro area but I'm willing to go just about anywhere. I plan to get my wheels powdercoated black when we move back there in a couple of weeks.
Thanks!
