Hello fellow Coloradans. I got a 2016 F150 Laredo about three weeks ago and am just joining up to learn all about the truck.
I live in north Westminster right by Broomfield.
Motorcycles are my main life thing but you do have to have 4 wheel transportation from time to time. I am coming from a 2007 Toyota FJ Cruiser with 100k miles in perfect condition to a demo 2016 F150 Lariat with 7K miles. Other than the pickup will tow my small toy hauler a bit better I have no real idea why I even did this, BUT am loving the truck so far.
And yes I am a native and have lived in this state for over 64 years now, so get off my lawn

Hello from Longmont!
Just bought an '18 F150 to tow our boat with. It replaces a trusty 2000 Silverado 2500 - reliable as all get out, but a complete pig, and not comfortable at all as a driver. Im consolidating from 3 to 2 vehicles, one had to be a truck for the boat, and I didnt want to drive the Chevy consistently. So the old 2500 was sold to a neighbor before I got home from the dealership, and my pride and joy 2012 Audi A6 will be on the market shortly (this makes me sad, but it is the right thing to do).
Im doing a few things to the F150 - a BAK Revolver X2 tonneau is on its way, as well as a Bed Rug XLT bed mat (so I dont tear up my skis/wakeboards/surf board). It will be interesting to see how it does pulling the boat, probably around 7K lbs fully fueled and loaded. The last bit of road heading to Carter or Horsetooth can be steep... the 2500 didnt care, but burnt gas like it was the 70's again with $0.29/gallon gas.
All in all, we are pretty happy with it... just over 500 miles now, getting about 17.5 mpg mixed on winter fuel. That is a good 5 mpg better than the Chevy on a GOOD day. It is comfortable, quiet, SURPRISINGLY fast, and I think will be a great vehicle for us for a long time.

The whole rig will be found most every weekend at Horsetooth reservoir. Looking forward to spring already!

Who the hell dropped Colorado into the South Central Region? I know many Americans are lacking in geography skills, but come on man... Colorado is west.

It is an XLT FX4 with a 3.5EB and Max Tow. We really wanted the bench seat so we can take 6 to the lake when needed, It really doesnt have a ton of other options, which works for me as its primary duty is pulling the boat. I was thinking leather seats and wet clothes arent a really good mix :-)

Very nice looking truck. Ah yes the days of water skiing all weekend, I kind of miss. Nice looking boat also.
I have gotten a few updates done on mine also. But I don't have the cool tailgate sticker
