I'm a bit late answering but figured I could give my opinion. I currently have Duratracs om my pickup as I do most of my driving on gravel or dirt. Before them, I had Wrangler AT/S that did quite well. I only ever got stuck once (in mud on the farm) and even drove 200 miles in a mild blizzard to get home. As basic as it sounds, you're the biggest variable in how well your vehicle makes it through winter driving. I've seen plenty of "good" winter vehicles stick on the side of the road while most of our employees make it to work in civics or the like.

Thanks for all the input, I've heard people here forget how to drive in the rain - which is 100% true from Texas too. I've also heard that CO drivers tend to drive like the roads are dry when its snowy/icy.
I'm gonna wing it for the first few storms. Maybe I'll do some shopping around on a few tires. I could leave em at work in the shop and put them on when snows supposed to be coming.
I'm running just stock michelins so either way I'll grab a few hundred pounds in sand bags.

Hey Everyone! I hope you're enjoying that stressful Broncos win today...whew, that one had me on the edge of my seat a few times.
Got a new truck yesterday. I traded my Blue Flame '12 EcoBoost in for an Oxford White '14 Appearance Package EcoBoost.
So far, I've put about 150 miles on it and I LOVE it...I won't be trading this one in for a LONG time. The '12 didn't have any gadgets inside like this one does.

I joined the appearance package club with a new to me '13 that I bought Monday. Really love this thing already. Has Dueler Alenzas on it and I've read they're horrible in the snow so not sure what to do about that...

Got at least a good foot of snow out here in Fort Morgan, was out all night Sunday plowing roads to get trucks and employees in and out and highway 52 was even closed over night.

Not much here, just got back home from harvest for 6 months and getting caught back up at home. Bad timing with winter but maybe we aught to work on having a meet sometime? Facebook page is pretty dead too...
