Default 1991 ford f-150 4by4 lariat help

Hi there we live in the tri cities. I have a 1999 ford f-150 lariat with the 5.4. My truck has not ran in about 2-3 years. I went out to start it and to plug in the carMD to see what is wrong with it. When I turned it on to start it did nothing so I jumped it with my mustang for about 5 min. went out to try to start it and it just clicked got out of the truck went to the front of the truck and I heard a clicking sound and I looked at the fan and it barely turned and it started clicking again and the work light was on under the hood and all of a sudden the light went out and then there was nothing. not sure what to look for first. Thank you for your time. God bless

Initially, from the sounds of it, your battery is completely dead. I would either charge it completely or buy a new one to start diagnosing the other problems.

The clicking sound was your starter trying to work with minimal power and the light went out because the battery is just totally dead.
