Ok need some advice guys. My exhaust manifold on passenger side is warped and leaking. Need to replace so I have decided to go with headers (short so they bolt up) any experience replacing them or any brand y'all recommend?

Heard good things about those, also heard horror stories about putting them in. Do you run those on your truck?

yes sir i have those on mine....and not gonna lie they were a pain in the *** to put on ha ha

Did they make a difference in the performance or just the sound or both?

i think i gained...4 hp and like 10 torque. not really worth how much work it took ha ha. at the time there werent any long tubes available

Not much for all that work! But probably helps with other mods. Planning on a custom tune so any little bit helps. The question is would you do it again or go with stock ones if they need to be replaced? And if long tubes were not available

i would do it again. with all of the motor work that i ended up doing...and with the dyno tune, im sure its helping me more than what the factory manifold did

Well that's tl enough for me, I'll probably get a set this month and put it off installing it a long as possible! Thanks for all the information
