Update on the tick!

I am going to strip it down this weekend and replace the timing chains, tensioners, guides and lower sprockets. Also doing the cam phasers, oil and filter change and the other lifters on the drivers side!

Should keep me out of trouble!

If anyone has any great hints or tips.....let me know!

Been busy with the engine disassembly! Its a big job! Got the timing cover off yesterday and sort of confused about the timing marks and chain link colours not really adding up? I found one seized rocker which will explain the ticking noise I had, I just hope it hasnt damaged the cam lobe too much!

Collecting new tensioners, chains and guides today.....ordering up new rockers too!

Did anyone else go to Coffee and Cars yesterday? If so, I'm sorry I missed y'all. It was a really good turnout. This is a small sample of the millions of dollars of cars on display yesterday.
