Talking Your new ontario plate sticker could cost $265.00

As pointed out on another Thread our stickers could be going up way up
I just received my renewal in the mail today and I have to pay $120 but as this
news cast is saying others are paying $265 https://toronto.ctvnews.ca/video?clipId=1647904
WHY I DONT KNOW but I have already sent emails to my LOCAL MPP and Minister of Transportation
and Premeir Doug Ford.... Maybe I got Lucky I dont know Im 3179kg on the inside of my door.....
It only takes 15 minutes of your day maybe instead of bitching at your spouse about the
new rims you want or during morning coffee or well sitting on the crapper (as I did LOL )
send out a email cc it to all three or more if you wish But at least do it
We have to Stand together on this if you have to pay or not
I will leave another post with MTO and Doug Ford email on a new post
Earle

Yea I know someday we will have to meet up....UnkLeRaRa
Okay I went to renew my sticker today and the Ladies were kind
enough to explain to me about sticker registration ....If you go in and have to pay
$265.00 it is because when your truck was registered it was at the class of 3001kg
or above a supercrew f150 should not be registered above that if not used for Comm.
use. So if your not using it for Comm. and you are registered above 3000kg you
can have them register it at 3000kg. or below ......But you cannot be hooked up to anything
Comm. trailer wise or personal use over 3000kg .....I hope that this will help anybody out
That guy in Oshawa got screwed by on caring folks in MOT shop by not explaneing things
to him............

I would suggest to anyone who may be caught by this to get their truck weighed.

Did a trip to the dump yesterday and my exit weight was 2,780 Kg! That's with truck + small aluminum trailer + me at 250.

Receipt shows all I will need to prove I'm not at 3000 Kg

Small world - local dump is in Georgina

Exit Tare: 2,780
Doing truck things, first dump run!

Would definitely try to make it happen!

Edit: FYI my drivers door sticker says 3175 Kg 7000 lbs and registration has 3000 Kg so no idea what plate fee will be come November

I've seen that thread but I think this Keswick meet would be more of an impromptu one were we could all meet, shoot the ****, and then be back home in 20 minutes.
Wasaga is more of a commitment but if I am able to make it I will
