Hope discounts get better 3750. Not sure if lease again or just buy.
I just bought a 502 lariat. Window sticker was $67,569.00. Was getting quotes of an additional $6800 off in the London Ontario area. Car cost canada suggested Oakridge and they gave me a straight up quote through email, no BS.

I ended up buying one with only a $5800 dealer discount, because they gave me $3000 more for my '13 than anyone else would.

Good luck!

If you factor in the difference in the value of the CAD vs USD alone, us Canucks are actually getting a pretty good deal on new vehicles these days. all sorts of other reasons contribute to why prices are generally higher in Canada as well (including of course that we just pay it)

I am not sure there are any good reasons that don't come down to the fact that the bid-ask spread on cars is higher here than it is in the USA. It is true that the currency effect has not yet been fully reflected in vehicle prices here, but it is also true that manufacturers are not in a position to increase prices in a market where sales are declining.

If you go back a few years to when the C$ and US$ were at par, there were quite a few articles questioning why a Subaru Outback could be had in the States for $15-20k less, for example. The manufacturers offered specious arguments around stuff like "windshield washer reservoir bigger on Canadian models."

It is a similar story on cell phone costs and dozens of other consumer goods and services. There are no really good technical reasons why we should pay so much more for cell phone service. We pay more because we are willing to pay more.

Incidentally there is about $20k in pure profit on a Lariat-and-higher trim pickup.

I just upgraded from a 2015 xlt to a loaded 2017 lariat with $2,000 down and lease over 3 years at $700 per month taxes in. Now is the time to get one as the 18's are coming in.
