Oil Change
#2
I'm also looking into this right now.
Have a 2017 3.5 eco 4x4, got it in june and have 4000 km on it.
Just got a call from dealer they want to book it for oil change. They said it is 8000 km or 6 months whichever comes first.
However the manual seems to state to wait for the computer OR one year.
Can other canadian owners give us some advice and also share the COST the dealership charge you. Do they charge for other services at same time? Details would be appreciated, thanks.

So use the computer. Now how much do they charge? Would be nice to know just to compare and make sure my dealership isn't overcharging me.

Check the dealers website for service specials. All ford dealers around here offer the works package which includes synthetic blend oil and several other things like tire rotation. Runs about 39.95 here.

I pay $99 taxes in for my oil changes here in Saskatoon. Includes oil & filter, tire rotation and a 22 point checklist inspection with the usual stuff on it.
I've changed my own oil since I began driving but the dealer requires them to service this truck for their certified warranty. (6 months or 8000km intervals, 3.5L eco)
