*UPDATE*

Fellow members, awesome to see further interest into this years meet!

Here's the post you've all been looking forward too, with the weather finally becoming more "bearable" and having over 15 potential members in attendance, it is time to begin preparing the next steps.

As mentioned in the last update the tool we will be using to locate a counterpoint our meet is "Geomidpoint" http://www.geomidpoint.com/meet/ an online tool when used, displays a geographically centre point for all members in potential attendance.

So what do you need to do? Please PM me your location with truck specs and I will organize our centre point.

these can work, but take huge efforts. Jeff...aka fringe_remnant put one on a few years ago and it was great. I'd love to go to one and see some of those that came to this one:

it's a long read...

*UPDATE*

Fellow members, we are getting closer to some "meet-up" weather.

It is with much remorse I must announce a death amongst our trucks. Coming home from work a few days ago my truck was hit extremely hard by what I could only assume was a distracted driver. Having followed up the insurance company just today, my truck is to be a "total loss" with damage exceeding the salvage point.

However, with that said, the meet will go on! (I'll just be driving the wife's car until I order my new F-150) who knows maybe I will have it for the meet.

Anyways, keep sending your location and truck specs to my inbox and I will continue planning an excellent (hopefully warm) meet.

Cheers fellow members!!

Default So Sorry!!!!

Givver...we are so sorry !!....but look on the bright side...you get to go shopping!!......Take a run down to Meadowvale, Younge Steeles or Eastcourt Ford (all high volume dealers owned by same guy) & just see if you can get something for what they advertise for in the "SUN" & take your Costco Membership with you that's another $1000. off....I know freight is extra.....if successful lets us know if they are really cheaper even price one against the other???......."GOOD LUCK"........Mac!!..... prices in paper seem unreal???

PS: Meadowvale is in Mississuaga... you should know where Younge Steeles is.... East Court (the 3rd one) is on Sheppard barely east of McCowan...
@ this time of year it might also pay to wait 3 months till the new ones come out & they clear out this years models...you are in the drivers seat!!

Givver, Sorry to hear. I am in the same boat as you! Mine was rear ended by a Mack Dump Truck on Highway 10 in Orangeville last Saturday. Insurance company wrote it off this week. I only had 23, 843 km on my 2013 Lariat.

Ultra Low 787 would you happen to be a pilot or a photographer? an aviation nut, perhaps?

No, sorry, nothing as glamorous as any of those things....
I specialized in ultralow temperature cryogenic refrigeration for many years and Local 787 is the union I teach for!
On a brighter note, my new 2017 Lariat replacement truck is supposed to be delivered tomorrow! Not exactly what I had or wanted, but close.
They stopped taking orders for 2017's the day before I got hit! I had to go through the bull%&*# of finding something in stock. sigh.
