Does anyone have a reliable place to pick up an extended warranty (Ford direct and not aftermarket). I think in the USA you can buy them online but can not find one here in Canada/Ontario.

I have just purchased the ESP from FloodFord in US. I have selected the plan that should cover my needs - Premium care, 5 years, 60K miles, $50 deductible for $615 US. Basically, I am against the extended warranties for anything. Also I do not have any reason (yet) to believe that the vehicle will cause me more troubles than I would expect. So, I followed the very simple logic: I find standard coverage a bit too short so I wanted to extend it a bit. Specifically, to cover some fancy components not covered by powertrain warranty after 3 years. I simply decided that it is a reasonable insurance cost for these two extra years of warranty.

I would not even think about paying the amount the dealer wanted to charge for the similar policy. And I had a quite honest chat with them, showing them the numbers and offering a reasonable amount - no, they want their (astronomical) amount or nothing. Well...this is not even a physical product
